History
Rabbi Chesky Vahab holds a generous resume of more than 30 years of experience in education and fundraising for underprivileged children as well as special needs schools and children.
He started alongside his father in law Rabbi Moshe Tanami who is the founder of Girls Town Or Chadash and TzoharLe’Tohar in the north of Israel. They worked together answering the needs of the poorest and disabled children receiving services there.
In 2014 their focus shifted to the Sharon area of Israel – Netanya, Hadera, Kfar Saba and Hod Hasharon. To their surprise there are many needy children awaiting urgent attention and so Rabbi Moshe Tanami appointed Rabbi Chesky Vahab – his son in law, to open Or Chadash Foundation (OCF) and together they focus on the needs in this region.
