About us
OCF - Or Chadash Foundation in the Sharon area of Israel was founded and established by Rabbi Chesky Vahab in 2014.
We focus on finding the needs of underprivileged children in low socio-economic neighborhoods and schools and providing them with the tools and opportunities to enhance their lives and future.
Or Chadash Foundation is devoted to its two main areas of activities - Education and Social Welfare. Within these program areas, OCF provides assistance to as wide a group of needy clients as possible.
Our main projects include:
- Netanya Special children’s center – The center currently houses 2 kindergartens and a nursery. In the afternoon it serves as a special needs facility for young children.
- Kfar Saba School – 50% of the students at the school come from low-socio economic societies and the school itself was in dire need of support. OCF has collaborated with the school and has initiated several vital projects there including;
- physical and emotional support for students,
- after school enrichment classes,
- lunch for children in the school.
- Youth at Risk – in Netanya – we are providing them with space and some basic food – to help them stay off the streets.
Our organization relies largely on the loyalty and support of our generous and kindhearted friends abroad who show their compassion to the many underprivileged children in our care.
